Cody R. Perez

Cougars_TylerThe 2014 Baseball season has started. Coastal Bend College has brought the Baseball program back after 30 year. I am glad to be apart of a team with teammates I have either played with or played against through out my baseball career. CBC Baseball is made of mostly South Texas talent and I know this team can make it to the 2014 Regional Tournament. I will be playing in the outfield and the middle infield for the Cougars. Check out my schedule and come watch me play. Or watch my stats during the season and check out the highlights.

Coastal Bend College

I have decided to continue my baseball career at Coastal Bend College (CBC). I will be part of the inaugural team as CBC reinstates their baseball program. CBC was formerly known as Bee County College, and had a baseball team in the 1970s. The first recession in the oil market of 1983 soon took its economic toll on what the college could afford and they dropped the baseball program. I am ready for a good season with some of my former teammates as we make our way to the NJCAA World Series.

I would like to thank all University/College Coaches that had an interest in me. I appreciate the offers, your time you took in watching me play, following me here on my website or making contact with me.

I have choosen to continue my baseball career at New Mexico Jr. College. The program is a fit for me as I continue to develop and grow with experience. I will continue to keep my website updated with highlights and my current stats as I play with the Thunderbirds.

I am a senior at Foy H. Moody High School in Corpus Christi, TX. I am the starting shortstop and the lead off hitter for one of the most successful baseball teams in South Texas. The Moody Trojans have a decade of success.

Along with playing baseball for a successful program, I am ranked in the top 10 of my class. School has always been my first priority while growing up. I want to continue my education and become a physical therapist and some day work for a professional organization.

I was recognized in the South Texas Preseason High School All-Star Team 2nd base (.316 average, 18 RBI, 17 runs) by the Corpus Christi Hook’s at their annual South Texas Winter Baseball Banquet. The large-school division features 17 players from eight schools. Alice, Flour Bluff and Moody each put two players on the team, while King, Victoria East and Victoria West placed one player apiece. Voting was done by 33 area coaches and select media members.
